Benefits of Remote Control Shades
There are a number of convenient options when it comes to automated window treatments. There are no visible cords thus eliminating the potential hanging dangers that pose a threat to children or animals. Instead, there are chain-driven shades, computerized systems, battery operated treatments and multi-zone systems for mid-window alignment.
All of the mechanisms used for powering the shades or blinds are hidden from view. Battery operated, remote controlled window treatments don’t require any wiring inside your walls. They are ultimately energy efficient as they do not use any electricity. With a hand held remote, you can choose to open/close your blinds one at a time or all at once. We always include a wall switch with a panel of buttons that will also control the shades (just in case you happen to misplace the remote control temporarily).
The advantages of automated window treatments are numerous and can only be appreciated after you’ve had them installed for one day. Programmable window coverings allow you to respond to the changing light of day whether you are home or not. This means ultimate protection for your carpets, furnishings and fabrics from damaging exposure to the sun.
Your privacy is maintained as well, including waiting until you are comfortably tucked in bed and opening the shades to enjoy the night light briefly before going to sleep. Conversely, waking in the morning, you don’t have to climb out of bed in order to open the shades to see the new day.
Once you have experienced opening automated blackout or sun shades with just the touch of a button, you will wonder why you ever waited to outfit your home with these beautiful coverings.
Whether you are a homeowner, an architect, a designer or a contractor, these motorized window treatments introduce a level of sophistication that is a uniquely distinctive feature in any home. Installation is easy to accomplish for our professional installation crews. Watching automated drapes, shades or blinds operate is really something to enjoy.
